WILX.com reports that the underground utility project along Grand River Avenue in downtown East Lansing has been pushed back a week. That means, the planned lane closures will affect traffic for the upcoming work week.

The center and right lanes of Grand River Avenue will be closed at Abbot Road as work continues to complete the Park District Redevelopment Project. The underground work will also close the covered pedestrian walkway along Grand River Avenue, adjacent to the construction area.

The lane closures are scheduled for Monday, November 18 through Friday, November 22. Motorists should plan for delays and seek alternate routes.
