Back in the late 70's, I was a safety patrol with Gier Park Elementary School in Lansing. And like so many afterwards, local DJ Danny Stewart, was the DJ in charge of spinning the tunes. The "Zapper Man" of Rock & Roll played the music at Frances Park while we all screamed and stuffed our faces with hot dogs and pop.

Now, I get to work with my buddy Danny and razz him about all of the old days. Never letting him forget that he also gave me the Elton John album (yes vinyl) "Victim of Love" at an appearance at the now defunct Rollerworld! Never realizing that I would follow in his footsteps as a local Lansing jock. Oh, the irony! Good times, good times!

Many thanks to Joey Pants for his help with the video!
