Capital City Blues Cruise

Scott Allman has been producer and host of the Capital City Blues Cruise, since its beginning in June of 1987. The show originally started at WMMQ 92.7 and has been here at Classic Rock 94.9 WMMQ for the last 18 years.

Scott was also the founding member and guitar player with the blues band Root Doctor. Scott left Root Doctor several years ago to focus on his other vocation, producing and directing videos.

Scott spent 22 years at Michigan State University as a videographer and producer and currently has his own production company, Clearwater Media Partners. Clearwater Media produces commercials, short-form videos, longer documentary work and even some independent film work. Scott has been nominated for four Emmys and won one for his video work.
