(The Six O'Clock Triple Shot is a daily feature of three songs that share a common theme, heard weeknights on 94.9 WMMQ)

Today in North London, family, close friends, and even a number of fans paid their final respects to the legendary Jack Bruce. The Cream bassist/singer passed away from liver disease on October 25. Today's gathering was a musical send off, led by former Cream mate Eric Clapton, who performed a version of "Strawberry Fields Forever". Attendees reportedly also performed Cat Stevens' "Morning Has Broken", while other Clapton songs, including his tribute "For Jack", played over loudspeakers. It sounds like it was a fitting send off for rock royalty.

Tonight, we'll pay our final respects to the late, great Jack Bruce. Tune in for "I'm So Glad", "SWLABR", and "Tales of Brave Ulysses". It's tonight's Six O'Clock Triple Shot on 94.9 WMMQ!
