It's time to celebrate another Rock 'n' Roll Birthday! Former Journey lead singer Steve Perry turns 66 today. There's a strange sense surrounding Perry and the Journey camp. Of course, fans have seethed for a reunion between the parties for years, while still enjoying the current lineup with Arnel Pineda handling the front man duties. Yet, there seems to be an open door to a Perry/Journey reunion of some sort. Founder Neil Schon has been adamant that Pineda is still the man, but said last year that he has approached Perry about coming back. Meanwhile, Perry was making stage appearances with modern rockers The Eels in 2014, and even led San Francisco Giants fans in a rendition of "Don't Stop Believin'" during the team's 2014 postseason run. Then came the news of an upcoming Journey live LP release this year featuring Perry during the Frontiers tour in 1983. Is that encouraging news for fans of a reunion? Maybe not. Journey has also announced a 2015 Las Vegas residency...with Arnel Pineda.

Tonight, we'll hear three Journey cuts from the Steve Perry era to celebrate his birthday. Check out "Feelin That Way/Anytime", "Who's Crying Now", and "Stone In Love" during tonight's Six O'Clock Triple Shot on 94.9 WMMQ!
