(The Six O'Clock Triple Shot is a daily feature of three songs that share a common theme, heard weeknights on 94.9 WMMQ)

The Eagles wrapped up a brief residency at The Great Western Forum this week, thus concluding The History of The Eagles Tour. The band played six shows at the newly renovated super-arena in Inglewood, CA. Once an iconic center for sports and entertainment, the new Forum will concentrate on being the premier music venue in LA. And who better to cut the ribbon than the prodigal southern rock children of Southern California. The concerts went on with great success, and garnered high acclaim from critics.

Tonight, we feature three from The Eagles for your Six O'Clock Triple Shot...and we go a bit off the reservation, as the band did with all of their shows on The History Tour. We'll feature the mad guitar of Bernie Leadon on "James Dean" from On The Border. We'll highlight the balladeer styles of Joe Walsh with "Pretty Maids All In A Row" from Hotel California, and round it out with the rockin' guitar trio of Walsh, Glenn Frey, and Don Felder on "Victim Of Love". The Six O'Clock Triple Shot...only on 94.9 WMMQ!
