It must be a raw deal to be the founder of a band, be the namesake for said band, and watch your former bandmates take your name on tour without you. That's exactly what is going on in J. Geils Band camp these days. Peter Wolf, Magic Dick, and Danny Klein did just that to J. Geils this winter. But, it's not time to dwell on negatives. We're celebrating Mr. Geils' 69th birthday tonight.
