(The Six O'Clock Triple Shot is a daily feature of three songs that share a common theme, heard weeknights on 94.9 WMMQ)

Today would have been the 54th birthday of the late, great Def Leppard ax-wielder Steve Clark. Clark died from an overdose of alcohol and prescription drugs in 1991. Despite the loss of such a talent, Def Leppard persevered as only they could. The band is still rocking today, set to embark on a tour with KISS this year, and a new album also in the works. Guitarist Phil Collen now handles much of Clark's original string work, along with long time journeyman Vivian Campbell. Tonight, we will honor Steve Clark on his birthday with three killer tracks featuring his guitar work at its finest. Clark's masterpiece "Bringin' On The Heartbreak/Switch 625" starts us off, followed by two Pyromania ass-kickers: "Billy's Got A Gun" and "Too Late For Love". It's tonight's Six O'CLock Triple Shot on 94.9 WMMQ!
