(The Six O'Clock Triple Shot is a daily feature of three songs that share a common theme, heard weeknights on 94.9 WMMQ)

Well, after a few days off, I'm back...and so is the Six O'Clock Triple Shot! Tonight, we commemorate another day in Rock 'n' Roll History. August 26, 1976 was a personal milestone day for the guys in Aerosmith. As Dr. Hook told us, a musician knows he/she/they are destined for stardom once they hit the cover of Rolling Stone. 38 years later, that proves to be true for Aerosmith. The band is out touring with Slash this year. Currently, drummer Joey Kramer is recovering from illness, and his son, Jesse Sky Kramer, is filling in for him. Whether Joey is "back in the saddle" for the September 9 show at DTE Energy Music Theater remains to be seen.

Tonight, we'll rock out with three from Aerosmith for your Six O'Clock Triple Shot. Tune in to hear "Lord Of The Thighs", "No More, No More", and "Train Kept A Rollin'", only on 94.9 WMMQ!
