Do you suppose that the discovery of human DNA in hot dogs means that the legendary competitive eater, regular winner of the Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest, Joey "Jaws" Chestnut is a cannibal? That unscientific speculation is based on the fact that he's eaten so many hot dogs in his life, he must have gotten at least some that contained human DNA.

Clear Food did a study that found that several commercial hot dogs contained ingredients they weren't supposed to (vegetarian dogs with meat, "pork free" dogs with pork), there were 'hygiene issues' (ew) and some of the dogs had human DNA in them.

Turns out Soylent Green isn't people, hot dogs are people.Sometimes.
