Soaring Eagle Show Goers Will See New Security Feature

As I walked in to the entertainment palace that is Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort Friday, I noticed a new feature as soon as I walked in. Prior to Friday's presentation of Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth, casino security officials had installed walk through metal detection devices at the main entrance of its Entertainment Hall.

Now, the timing has nothing to with Tyson or his criminal past; this is purely coincidental. SECR security workers told me that the detectors will now be a permanent fixture for show goers. But, detectors, so far, are only installed in one of the three entrances to the hall. And, everybody must through them. So, extra time will be necessary to prior to entering shows.

A few minutes is a small price to pay for safety these days. Just be aware that for sold out shows, 3,300 people will be funneled through the one entrance.
