Steve Yzerman Returns to Save The Detroit Dead Wings Again

He hasn't saved them yet but do you have any doubt that he will? I do not. I remember the Red Wings before Steve Yzerman. They look very similar to the product the Red Wings put on the ice this year. Terrible.

He is still the longest tenured Captain in the history of international sports. For a while, he left to be the successful General Manager of the Tampa Bay Lightning.... Ken Holland, the guy who helped build the Red Wings into a Stanley Cup Champion has graciously agreed to step aside for Stevie Y. 

The new GM is wasting no time, he is headed off to Sweden to check out the under 18 championships... Hopefully he'll spot the next Nicklas Lidstrom.
