#SWISSTRONG Event Raises Awareness From The Heart

In June of this year Fox 47 News Anchor Sarah Swistak lost her brother to esophageal cancer. Today Sarah shared that story with me for another show that airs here on WMMQ and our sister stations of Town Square Media. Like many others, dealing the loss of a loved one is quite difficult, but Sarah is not keeping it private. She along with FOX 47, has joined with the Dorsey School of Beauty for the #SWISSTRONG event. They will offer free haircuts and encourage people to offer donations that will  benefit the American Cancer Society. FREE Makeovers and FREE styling during the event taking place Thursday August 27, 2015 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM.

Sarah is also making a contribution of her own with 8 inches of her own hair to be donated to assist in the making of wigs for cancer patients. We all know someone that has been affected by cancer somehow. We also have lost loved ones. So if you get the chance, please stop by and get a haircut or a makeover.
