Take this as just an opinion, but who wouldn't appreciate shorter waits, less crying kids (and let's be real, adults) and less stress at the Secretary of State?

If you already have it in preparation for the original 2021 deadline, great! Otherwise, don't stress. You have plenty of time...about two years, actually.

If your license has expired, don't stress, you'll be fine.

Most services are online, late fees are waived, and they are prepping for more Michiganders to Vote By Mail.

Issue is creating a hold up of some services.
