Singer says other guitarists could play like Eddie Van Halen, but Satch knows where the music comes from.

Singer says he'd do the disastrous 2004 tour all over again if it meant playing with Eddie Van Halen again.

"It sounds so much like the record, the vocals," Hagar says of the new touring lineup. "It’s above and beyond what I expected."

"We reached out to him a dozen times before this tour, in every way," the Red Rocker tells UCR.

After nine years apart, the reunited band's set lists looked quite different.

Van Halen's 2004 reunion was marred by jealousy over the singer's tequila success.
