Well, I never saw that one coming. A complete  sweeping curveball. I have never seen a team play so poorly the week before and come back the next week and dominate.

Michigan State sure fooled everyone with their play in Ann Arbor on Saturday afternoon. I mean it was absolutely unbelievably perfect. Nobody has been more harsh with MSU’s quarterback Rocky Lombardi than me. This cat made me eat my words with a huge helping of humble pie.

No one in college football gave Mel Tucker’s team a snowball’s chance in a hot place. I felt the Michigan Wolverine team never thought that the Spartans would come out throwing the pigskin down field like they did. I kept saying Lombardi can’t throw the ball down the  field with consistency. Again, boy did he prove me wrong.

Listen, there were are a lot of factors in this game. But both teams had to deal with them. I just wanted a competitive game. We sure did get one. Now this rivalry is back. That game rocked the state. The final score from Ann Arbor was Michigan State Spartans 27 and the Michigan Wolverines 24.

Jim Harbaugh had to be in the Twilight Zone after that loss!
