The DNR has created the "Eyes in the Field" app that you can download to your phone and report what you see while you're actually in the field or the stream...or maybe you're in Bath Township and you see a cougar - get a picture!

Get the app here for free michigan.gov/eyesinthefield - this apparently replaces 15 separate observation forms the DNR had been using to collect info on the state's game.

Sounds like they'd like to hear about "diseased wildlife, tagged fish...cougars and feral swine, fish such as sturgeon, birds such as wild turkeys, and reptiles and amphibians such as eastern massasauga rattlesnakes."
