Tragedy Hits Laingsburg, Help The Wolfpack
Laingsburg is near and dear to my heart. My son goes to school there, lives in Laingsburg 50% of the time and I've really enjoyed getting to know many in the Laingsburg community. It's been fun coaching baseball and going to the other events in Laingsburg.
Fatal Car Accident
When I read the news today via Facebook and WLNS my heart shattered for the kids and families. WLNS says:
Two Laingsburg teenagers were killed and two others injured after a 16-year-old driver lost control and crashed into a ditch, catching fire.
The car hit a tree on the 8700 block of Colby Lake Road in Sciota Township at about 10 p.m. Thursday evening.
You Can Help
Laingsburg has a strong community team effort kind of attitude. Everyone knows each other in Laingsburg. If you need help with something, someone is definitely going to help you out. Laingsburg will rise and stand together in this moment as they've shown already.
You may not live in Laingsburg, your support will be welcomed and appreciated. Parents aren't supposed to bury their children. I spoke to Wendi at Dairy Den on the phone this afternoon and she represents the urgency to help. If you'd like to make a donation to help the families you can do so by scanning the code below.
To the families involved in this unbelievable tragedy, I am praying for you and I beg for strength, mercy and peace for you.
