U2 Coming to Detroit, Ford Field, in September
In celebration of the 30th anniversary of their classic album, promoters announced today that U2 will bring their Joshua Tree stadium tour to Ford Field in Detroit - and we've got tickets to give away!
The very first stadium show that U2 headlined was on April 30, 1987 at the Pontiac Silverdome and it is the Detroit audience that will see the relaunch of U2's North American tour with the Ford Field show September 3, 2017.
Tickets start at $35 for general admission and will go on sale to the general public on Monday June 12th. You can also join the U2 fan club for a chance to buy tickets before everyone else starting Thursday June 8th at 10AM through Saturday June 10th at 5PM.
An anniversary edition of the The Joshua Tree was just released by Interscope Records on June 2. Alongside the 11-track album, the super deluxe collector’s edition includes a live recording of The Joshua Tree Tour 1987 Madison Square Garden concert; rarities and B-sides from the album’s original recording sessions.
