As someone who has grown up with a spice-head like my dad, shows like "Hot Ones" presented by the YouTube channel "First We Feast" are right up my alley.

If you are unfamiliar with the show basically the host, Shawn Evans, sits down with celebrities and interviews them as they both indulge in 10 wings that get progressively hotter and the celebs have to continue answering the "burning" questions while their mouths are...well, burning.

Each hot sauce is ranked by the "scoville scale" which Chili Pepper Madness explains it as: "The Scoville Scale and Scoville Heat Unit (SHU) were named for scientist Wilbur Scoville in 1912 for measuring a chili pepper’s pungency and heat."

I have been addicted to watching episodes for hours on end and it all stems from the fact my dad LOVES spicy food and makes his wings and chilis as hot as can be but also still tries to make them have good flavor.

I also have tried one of the sauces they have in their arsenal as the second-to-last hot sauce, meaning it's the second hottest one they have...Mad Dog 357 so I'd like to think I could handle it better than half the celebs they have on.

Here's a look at my top five favorite episodes and why:

1. Gordon Ramsay

How can you not just love Gordon Ramsay? On a show about food you can just expect the same foul-mouthed critiques we've come to love from the celebrity chef. Also, he shows up like Mary frickin' Poppins with a bag full of tricks to try to help him beat the heat.

2. Steve-O

Obviously this is right up his alley and we have all taken pleasure in his pain for decades now.

3. Theo Von

Theo is one of my absolute favorite comedians so seeing him take on another one of my favorite shows is already amazing in itself. Theo's reactions also just make this one of the best episodes ever.

4. Charlie Day

This is another one that I feel really inclined to absolutely love just because I love the person who is taking on the challenge.

5. Guy Fieri

The mayor of Flavor Town, known for the flames on his shirt brings the heat into his mouth! It is such a fun episode and when you watch until the end, you notice he didn't drink a single sip of milk OR EVEN WATER.

If these peak your interest, you are in luck because there are 13 seasons with such a wide array of celebrities, you are bound to find some of your favorites!
