UPDATE: Damaging Winds And Hail Remain A Threat For Lansing

The storm front forecasters have been following over the past 24 hours in Michigan has slowed down a bit. According to this article at mlive.com, strong storms and severe weather remain possible for the area this evening. But, the later it gets, the less of an issue air instability will be. While the threat for tornadic activity has greatly decreased, it can't be completely ruled out, even through the overnight hours. Thunderstorms with large hail and high winds are the biggest threat for our region. High winds are expected overnight and through the day Friday, prompting The National Weather Service to issue a Wind Advisory for Friday from 2:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
