If you find yourself out in the West Bloomfield area today, take a trip down colon lane with the inflatable organ.

Now, as someone who is terrified of bounce houses and inflatable obstacles, nothing sounds more horrifying than the anxiety of potentially being stuck in an inflatable rectum, but to each their own!

According to Click On Detroit, Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital and the National Colorectal Cancer Alliance teamed up and will have the colon set up from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today in honor of Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month.

People can walk through and get visuals of the various stages of colon cancer and other diseases like Crohn's and polyps.

Colorectal cancer specialists will also be available with information and answers to questions anyone visiting may have.

Will the giant colon be traveling? Will Lansing also get to partake in Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month? We can only hope!

In the meantime, use this month as a reminder to get colon screenings and other important testing done to make sure you've got a healthy gut...and butt.
