A colleague and I were talking about random stuff and the topic of snacks and chips came up. We discussed the big boxes of chips that come with mini bags of different flavors, we discovered that we both have one thing in common. There's always a flavor that no one likes to eat in each of our households. While they may be different flavors in our households, the fact remains, there's always a flavor that is ignored and left to rot.

I didn't used to shop for big econo size boxes of chips before I had kids. Maybe on occassion I'd buy a box of these snacks to bring camping to share with others or perhaps for a party at home. I like the convenience of having individually bagged chips for my guests and it is also more hygenic than people reaching their germ ridden hands into a big bags of chips only to contamintate the other chips that were touched.

I like the concept of different flavors in every box. There's always a good combination to choose from. I love the boxes that also include the different Cheeto flavors.

A lot of time with the different combo boxes, you might get screwed and be loaded down with bags of pretzels.

One thing that we get in some of the combo boxes that the kids avoid, but I love to eat, are Sun Chips. We love the combo box that includes the Sour Cream & Onion or BBQ flavors.

The snacks that go over well in our home are any flavored potato chip, Cheetos and Doritos.

You can avoid a bunch of unopened chips if you look at the boxes carefully to ensure that you are getting the most bang for your buck. If you're household is anything like mine, you'll end up with a bunch of unopened bags of pretzels, Sun Chips and plain potato chips.
