If you lived through the 80's, you surely remember the Ghostbusters. Back in the time before the term "Classic Rock" was thrown around in 1984, Ghostbusters was the second highest grossing movie of the year. Beverly Hills Cop was #1.

A while ago, Josh Gad who played Olaf in Frozen, reunited the cast of Goonies in his show called Reunited Apart. Monday, he will reunite the surviving cast members of Ghostbusters including Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver and Annie Potts. They are all reprising their roles in the upcoming flick  Ghostbusters: Afterlife.

The movie is set to open in March of 2021, so the promotion is a bit early. It was supposed to have a July release but due to the COVID pandemic it moved back.

It'll be nice to see Dr. Peter Venkman again! It looks like the movie is quite a tribute to Harold Ramis. The conversation also seems like you'll get some great Ramis stories.  One of the kids appears to be his grandson and stumbles on to the family legacy. Ramis passed away back in 2014. His name in the movie was Egon Spangler.

One of the kids character names in the movie is Swayze by the way.

I hope Rick Moranis is involved in some way. He stepped away from acting to take care of his kids in 1997. It was recently announced he would come back for another "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids" movie. Josh Gad is also starring in it so I expect at least an appearance.

The show is Monday night on youtube.com. Click here for the Josh Gad youtube channel.
