Williamston Teacher’s Letter To Parents Stirs Up Inauguration Dust
If you have a student in Williamston Community Schools, you may have received a letter telling you that your fourth grader will not watch the Presidential Inauguration Friday at school.
The story has gone viral after Townsquare-Lansing talk radio host Steve Gruber shed light on the story and online. In a nutshell, the teacher is concerned about President-Elect Donald Trump saying something "inflammatory and degrading" during his Inauguration Speech. And, as everything about the change of leadership has done over the last two and a half months, emotions have been stirred up.
And, it's not only there...just do a websearch on the story and see all of the results...local, state, national, and worldwide web outlets have pounced all over the story.
What do you think? Is this teacher within acceptable boundaries, or crossing an unacceptable line with his decision?
