8 Former Spartans Met Up Saturday Night on the Football Field

Saturday, Former MSU QB Brian Hoyer lead the Houston Texans to a 23-10 victory over San Francisco in preseason action. The game featured 8 former Dantonio era Spartans. Get more of the story here.

San Francisco has 3 former Spartans, Marcus Rush, Mylan Hicks and Garrett Celek. Celek had a TD catch in the game. Houston has Max Bullough, Kurtis Drummond, Keith Mumphery, Keshawn Martin and QB Brian Hoyer. Hoyer threw a 58 yard TD to Cecil Shorts. Kurtis Drummond had a interception to seal the game.

It will be interesting to see if they all stick but it is validation Mark Dantonio is doing an amazing job. I have a feeling more Spartans will be playing soon.
