Joey Pants was born in Lansing, raised in Webberville and has lived in Michigan his entire life. Growing up in Villbilly land, Joey learned the value of hard work, honesty and giving back to the community. He's had jobs as a fence builder, factory rat and telephone pole climber (Lineman). While working in cable, friends told Joey he sounded like he could be on the radio. In 1999, he attended Specs Howard School of Media Arts. After graduating in 2000, Joey was in an electric accident. He took 13 thousand volts of electricity and fell 25 feet from a pole. After a long recovery, he went back to Specs for the radio program and graduated in 2002 with "Most Entertaining and Most Outgoing" honors. He began as an intern at WMMQ in 2002 and filled in as morning show producer when Deb Hart began referring to him as Joey Pants.

Is it the Law to Remain Outside of Your Vehicle While Pumping Gas in Michigan?
Short answer: Not really.
A few weeks ago during the polar vortex, I was getting gas at Costco. It was so miserably cold, I jumped back in my car to keep warm while the gas filled my car. Seconds later, the gas jockey was knocking on my window telling me I had to stay outside my vehicle...
