It was just September 21st, 2019 when I was thrilled to be broadcasting live for the Grand Opening of Stock and Field. It was a Saturday and there was supposed to be Axe Throwing, Sparty and all kinds of fun but it rained hard. We were forced to broadcast live inside and no doubt, it killed the turnout. I was amazed at all they had in one store. EVERY time I went back, and I went back a lot, I was amazed at how few people were in there. Around Christmas I had the feeling it wasn't going so well.

Then, this weekend, we were driving by and saw the store closing sign. So, there is a lot to go save on! At least until they close the doors. It was formally Big R Stores but they will soon all be formally because they are all closing. Click here to see the full story.

It was announced back in January, but I am just hearing about it now. Damn pandemic. After 55 years Stock and Field will be closing all 25 stores.

I was so bummed but naturally, I turned to... "How much can I save now?"

My daughter loves their "Toy Country" and I'll be hitting it up for an extra dancing farting pig... You can't just get those anywhere. I also got her little wheelbarrow there.

I think the location is cursed. Sam's didn't make it in that area either. Hooter's couldn't even survive over there in South Lansing. Even Champions down the street is closing too. Let's get an exorcism scheduled for the area.
