Earlier this week, Joey Pants and I were talking about a 'guest-pitch' to us, where a publicist was offering up an expert to join us on the air to talk about 'How To Not Wreck Thanksgiving'. We also ran down a list in Monday's Detroit Free Press which suggested ways to make the holiday gathering pleasant for everyone.

Much of the 'harmonious gathering' boils down to not being a jerk, letting go of grudges, not being a jerk, taking a little time to 'breathe' after travelling before heading right into 'the action', not being a jerk, avoiding alcohol  and not expecting anyone to act any differently than they always behave. And not being a jerk. (I'm talking to myself about the jerk-business.)
