Dantonio Stresses Importance Of Bouncing Back and Resiliency
Mark Dantonio is no stranger to adversity. Though it doesn't happen often anymore, the Spartans were beaten handily at home last Saturday and Dantonio knows how to get a team up off the mat and back into a fighting mode.
Dantonio then went on to preview the Indiana game. The Spartans travel to Bloomington for this one. The Spartans have held the Old Brass Spittoon rivalry trophy since 2007.
Some talk had surfaced after the Wisconsin game if there was a thought to change QB's mid-game or if a quarterback controversy was brewing. Dantonio seemed to put that to rest saying O'Connor "is prepared to handle these things"
Dantonio did touch on the subject of the passing of former Spartan Mylan Hicks. The Spartans already have plans in place to honor him on Saturday.
And in a rare moment where Dantonio talked injury news, Jon Reschke has a severe ankle sprain while Riley Bullough is to be considered "day-to-day"
The Spartans look to get back in the win column when they take on Indiana in Bloomington, Saturday October 1st. You can hear all the action on your home for Spartan athletics, Classic Rock 94.9 WMMQ and Lansing's Big Talker 1240 WJIM.
