The Lansing State Journal reports that a half dozen homes near the former Adams Plating Company on Rosemary Street in Lansing were tested recently for toxic contamination. The Adams plant burned down in December of 2010 and there are concerns that some of the nearby homes may be exposed to vapors that could be harmful to humans.

Check out the story here in the Lansing State Journal - this isn't the only place in our state, with its profound manufacturing history, that may have contaminated the land and water.
