Michigan State University just announced today that the Spartans will play Arizona in the 2016 Armed Forces Classic at Pearl Harbor. The game will be a part of a doubleheader; Kansas and Indiana will meet up in the other match.

MSU head coach Tom Izzo says, "We've been fortunate to play in some unbelievable events over the years, but the opportunity to play at Pearl Harbor is unique. The chance to honor and entertain the current military members is amazing in itself, but the opportunity to be a part of the 75th Anniversary recognition of the attacks on Pearl Harbor is truly humbling...This will be a chance to pay tribute in our own little way to the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice so that we might enjoy the freedoms we still enjoy today."

The game will be Friday, November 11, 2016.
