(The Six O'Clock Triple Shot is a daily feature of three songs that share a common theme, heard weeknights on 94.9 WMMQ)

We take another trip in the Rock 'n' Roll Time Machine tonight, albeit a short trip. We rewind one year to November 13, 2013. Bob Dylan received the highest award given to those with cultural influence in France. The country's culture minister praised Dylan for serving as an inspiration to young people. According to an article at rollingstone.com, a previous attempt to honor the singer-songwriter was shot down by the committee that approves honorees due to his opposition of the Vietnam War and marijuana use. After receiving the honor, and wrapping up a tour in France at the time, Dylan found himself in hot water after comments made in an interview with a Rolling Stone reporter. His controversial remarks resulted in a lawsuit filed by the Council Of Croats, citing racist comments. Hate crime charges were later dropped by French authorities.

Tonight, we will hear three songs from Bob Dylan to mark his day in music history. Tune in for "Maggie's Farm", "Tangled Up In Blue", and one of my favorites from his work with Traveling Wilburys, "Tweeter And The Monkey Man". It's tonight's Six O'Clock Triple Shot on 94.9 WMMQ!
