More Construction Coming on I-96

The Michigan Department of Transportation is slated to begin another reconstruction project on I-96. As travelers already contend with the headache that is the I-96/U.S. 23 interchange reconstruction, and bridge replacement at I-96 and Aurelius Road, the Lansing to Detroit commute is going to test the patience of drivers between Webberville and Fowlerville. The good news is, lane closures are only expected to affect westbound travelers during overnight hours this weekend.

But, according to WLNS.com those lane closures will be around the clock beginning next week through mid-May.
