(The Six O'Clock Triple Shot is a daily feature of three songs that share a common theme, heard weeknights on 94.9 WMMQ)

ultimateclassicrock.com is reporting today that The Sons of Sin From The Sunset Strip will wrap up their "farewell" tour December 30 and 31, 2015 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. It was last summer that Motley Crue announced they would be hanging it up after one more go round. After selling out the venues they played last summer, the tour was extended into early winter. Now, it seems that the final hoorah for the band will take place where it all began. Vince Neil, in the article, also suggests the band may officially hang it up in early 2016 at The Whiskey-A-Go-Go. That would mark the band's 35th anniversary at the venue that started it all. Given the fact that the band will say goodbye to Japan beginning in February, it remains possible that there may be more U.S. shows to come later this year. That won;t happen until Nikki Sixx wraps up a headlining tour with his band Sixx A.M.

Tonight, well frankly, it's just a reason to play some Motley Crue. Tune in for "Live Wire", "Too Young To Fall InLove", and "Same Ol' Situation". It's tonight's Six O'Clock Triple Shot on 94.9 WMMQ!
