Six O’Clock Triple Shot – 9/10/14 Mellencamp Books Lengthy Tour

John Mellencamp announced a new tour today to support his forthcoming Plain Spoken LP. Mellencamp did a brief 10 show tour of North America this summer. But, this upcoming tour in 2015 appears to be much more extensive, with dates scheduled between Late January and August. The Seymour, Indiana native will kick off the tour fairly close to us, in his home state, January 21, 2015 in South Bend, IN. So far, two Michigan dates are booked: June 9, 2015 in Grand Rapids at DeVos Hall, and June 10, 2015 at the Detroit Opera House. All shows are slated to be held in intimate auditorium and theater venues, with exception to the tour finale in Indianapolis. That show is booked for Bankers Life Fieldhouse. Needless to say, with the smaller venues booked, tickets, which go on sale Friday, September 19, 2014 should be hard to come by.
