(The Six O'Clock Triple Shot is a daily feature of three songs that share a common theme, heard weeknights on 94.9 WMMQ)

Tonight, we celebrate another Rock 'n' Roll birthday as David Coverdale turns 63. The Whitesnake and former Deep Purple front man has been relatively low-key as of late, aside from a summer encounter with a black bear at his home in Lake Tahoe this year. But, the Whitesnake line up had some recent shake-ups. In is guitarist Joel Hoekstra who comes over from Night Ranger. Hoekstra is also a travelling tour member of Trans-Siberian Orchestra and the "Rock Of Ages" productions. He replaces Doug Aldrich who left earlier this year after 11 years as Whitesnake guitarist.

It's all about Coverdale tonight, though, as we play three from the Whitesnake catalog. Tune in for "Still Of The Night", "Love Ain't No Stranger", and "Slow An' Easy" for tonight's Six O'Clock Triple Shot, only on 94.9 WMMQ!
