One of the challenges of the holiday season is getting those packages shipped to family members scattered around the world in time. Well, the U.S. Postal Service made an unexpected announcement today, according to this article at mlive.com. Beginning November 17, the U.S.P.S. will begin delivering seven days a week through Christmas Day...including Christmas Day! As the Postal Service gets a leg up on their main competitors, FedEx and UPS, who do not deliver on Sundays or holidays, they do still have suggested dates to ship by to ensure timely delivery before December 25. Here is that list of dates.

First Class Mail International and Priority Mail International: December 2

Priority Mail Express International: December 10

Standard Post: December 15

Global Express Guaranteed: December 17

First Class Mail and Priority Mail Domestic: December 20

Priority Mail Express Domestic: December 23
