A Reminder On The Dangers Of Energy Drinks
I've said it before and I will say it again, I am a caffeine addict.
Now, though, with being back at the office and new restrictions, including the shutdown of our office coffee station, I have had to find alternatives to get myself all pepped up to be on air.
Last summer is really when I started turning more to energy drinks for a quick burst of energy to get me through long days. Now, as much as I know they are not the best for you, I still find myself reaching for them when it's a bit tough to drag myself out of bed.
I think, for me at least, it's because it is a quicker burst of energy, I don't have to wait for it to cool down like I do with coffee and in the summer, hot drinks are just not where it's at for me.
As many of us make our returns to working our regular schedule after working from the comfy confines of our homes, many of us are reaching more for energy drinks.
Here are just some of the dangers to consider when it comes to prolonged use of these highly-caffeinated drinks.
Energy Drink Dangers
This is not all to sound preachy and I feel like I need to address how hypocritical this may come off considering I wrote this all with an energy drink in my hand.
However, it is more just to understand the dangers and to keep energy drinks to when you really feel like you need them. They really are not good for you and every time I reach for one I think "I really shouldn't be doing this."
So, if you want to be like me and use this post more as a reminder of what can happen if you consistently use energy drinks, that's what it is here for!
