If you talk to anyone these days, they will tell you how much they love shopping at Aldi.  The supermarket chain has a cult following.

That probably has something to do with the fact that Aldi products are high quality takes on everyday essentials, super fun, totally inventive, and always delicious food and drink creations..

According to USA Today, Aldi is expanding its curbside pickup to approximately 500 more stores by the end of 2021 after adding the service to about 600 stores in 35 states last summer.

Curbside pickup has grown dramatically in popularity and availability during the coronavirus pandemic.  Retailers including Sam's Club, Best Buy, Macy's, Kohl's and Old Navy have added it as shoppers try to make fewer trips to stores.  (USA Today)

My wife and I live about five minutes away from the nearest Aldi supermarket.  It's located on Marsh Road in Okemos.  We have neighbors who live across the street from us who both shop at Aldi's at least once a week.  They love the place.

Aldi has more than 2,000 stores across 37 states and says it is on track to become the third largest grocery retailer by store count by the end of 2022.

Aldi also is opening about 100 new stores this year at a time when other retailers such as Macy's, Sears, and others are closing locations.

The new locations are planned with a focus on Arizona, California, Florida and the northeast.
