Our nighttime host at WMMQ announced recently that he's got an album of cover songs coming out this Spring.  This Alice's first covers album - he says the songs are "basically, all by dead drunk friends".  Alice has been off booze for decades, but he reportedly used to booze it up with Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison, Keith Moon and John Lennon -- expect those to be some of the artists he covers on his new album.

And of course, we heard last week that Cooper will open up for Mötley Crüe on their farewell tour that starts in July.

A week ago today, Alice Cooper dedicated Tom Petty's "The Last DJ" to Larry Allen Estlack, the host of All Request Saturday Night here at WMMQ for decades.
