An Open Letter to All Annoying Seagulls in Michigan

Attention all seagulls in the state of Michigan, why are you so annoying?

You can't even go to any beach in Michigan without being bothered by the ever popular seagull. There could be just one or two or a whole flock of seagulls at one time.

Here's the difficult part, you can't get rid of them! And the worst thing you can do is feed seagulls. That's a big NO-NO!

I did that once at a beach up in Traverse City and I was pretty much attacked by hundreds of seagulls.

They were chasing after me on the beach trying to get food out of my hands. And by the way, if you try to feed just one seagull, ten more happen to show up out of nowhere. It's a complete nightmare!

To me, seagulls are like hawks, looking around just waiting for their next victim or victims to annoy. And they never leave you alone. Can I mention that I'm afraid of bird droppings hitting the top of my head while these dirty birds are preying on us humans.

Most recently my wife and I went to Mackinaw City to celebrate our wedding anniversary when low and behold, hundreds of seagulls not only in the state park beach area, but hundreds more on the beach area near the Mackinac Bridge.

You can always see them on boardwalks, beaches, around trash cans, and around park benches when you're just trying to sit and relax.

There has to be some good advice out there, that can help us get rid of annoying seagulls.
