Best Advice You’ve Ever Gotten from Mom?

When I think of my mom, I think of how she bakes an apple pie and mails it to me for my birthday every year.  Sure, your mom might make good pie, but MY mom makes DELICIOUS pie!

The wisest thing my mother ever told me was, "An education is the only thing that can never be taken away from you."  I'm sure she was hoping that might encourage me to get a degree and make something useful of myself, but I chose the path of radio, instead.  She's still hoping I'll get a real job someday. I'll think about it.
