Beware: Turtles Crossing

Warmer temperatures are bringing out Mother Nature's slow moving shelled creatures in search of food and love.

Be watchful and mindful of turtles crossing the road. Turtles, such as the snapping turtle shown in the photo, can live to be over 100 years old and lay hundreds of eggs in hopes of maintaining their populations. And despite their prehistoric appearance, they can also make tasty table fare.
