Brush With Death: Cable Snaps During Landing on USS Eisenhower

I am a sucker for planes. I love the air show, other than the constant playing of "Danger Zone." It really is a danger zone. Especially on the water.

I used to play a video game where you had to land your plane on a aircraft carrier. I could never do it. I never got past that part of the simulator. So, I have a lot of respect for the people who can do it in real life.

This video is AWESOME! First, no one died. B. The save by the pilot is AMAZING! And 3 or whatever letter we left off on... The comments on the youtube site for this video are hilarious. Mostly, about the size of the pilots genitals. Click here to go there. The video is black and white, looks like it's from the 1950's but it was from March of 2016.

It's a testament to how dangerous the job of a sailor is. Nothing is routine.
