Gigi the cat, who was found wandering the streets of Lansing with a badly broken leg when she was just three months old. Some sweet soul rescued her and brought her to the Capital Area Humane Society, where they repaired her leg, spayed her and toured her around the TV and radio stations one Friday morning in June of 2012.

She came home with My Honey and me the next day.

She's brought SO much joy to our home with her quirky personality.

It seemed like the internet needed more cat videos, so I was compelled to share this moment of Gigi trying to communicate in bird-speak, presumably in an effort to trick the birds into her mouth.

Cathealth.com confirms what Joey Pants told me this morning that the reason cats make those chirps at the birds is because felines attempt to mimic the sounds of their prey in an attempt to lure them closer.
