Children as Young as 10 Fought in the MMA Cage in Chechnya Tuesday

It sounds like something out of "Lord of the Flies" or an apocalyptic movie. Tuesday, Russian television presented "Tuesday Night Kid Fights!" I made the name up but this actually happened.

The Russian backed leader of the Russian region of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, faced criticism Wednesday after his 3 sons took part in televised mixed martial arts fight card that involved children as young as 8. He must have been proud. All 3 sons won their fight!

The kids walked to the ring with background music and the normal hype you see before a fight as adults cheered them on. The broadcast was focused on the adult bouts but did feature but featured professional commentary and graphics introducing the child fighters. In the live arena...
