This City in Michigan is 6th Rudest In America
Michigan has a lot to offer. We've got the Great Lakes, amazing outdoor activites and awesome sunsets. Michigan is also home to the 6th rudest city in the United States.
What makes American cities rude?
Big cities are known for lots of traffic, fast paced lifestyles and people living on top of each other in high rises and apartments. With so many people in big cities that have lots of other people to see, it's no wonder that people are on the move and don't take the time to do good human things.
If you've ever been to Chicago or New York you've witnessed this type of behavior. Nobody has time to hold the door for you. Nobody makes small talk with the cashier and nobody does the old fashioned things like giving up their seat on the bus for a woman or elderly person.
You're also likely to get a whole boquet of middle fingers in rude cities too.
What determined the rudest cities in America?
Real Simple sums it up:
The survey asked nearly 2,100 Americans to rank what they believed were the five rudest U.S. cities from a list of the nation's 50 largest cities.
What cities are in the Top 5 rudest cities in America?
#1 - New York City
#2 - Los Angeles
#3 Washington D.C.
#4 Chicago
#5 Boston
If you notice, these cities are situated on water. Is it the "shore" life that makes residents rude?
What city in Michigan is ranked sixth rudest in America?
It could be any number or cities in Michigan. Traverse City or Grand Rapids could qualify and any town on the lake during the summer could also qualify because of all of the Illinois folk that come to our state.
I don't think the sixth rudest city is rude unless you are at Metro trying to fly out.
Detroit is the sixth rudest city in America!
If Detroit is number 6 and Chicago is number 4, Detroit must be doing good because Chicago is the rudest city I have ever been to.
