Cool Off At The Best Swimming Holes In Lansing

The summer heat is in mid Michigan and it's time to cool off! Nothing beats the heat better than a dip in a pool pool or lake. The Lansing area is loaded with options for you and your family to head out, have some fun, and cool off.

Realistically the Great Lakes are only a couple of hours east or west of us, swimming in one of the Great Lakes is a blast. We're busy and can't always accomodate travel time to and from one of the Great Lakes, it's ok, Lansing has lakes, pools and a waterpark.

Our family will head out to Lake Lansing Park to enjoy the water. There are plenty of food options near Lake Lansing too if you want to make it a whole day or bring your lunch in the cooler and call the beach your home for the day.

If you do, you won't have any issue passing the time when you're not playing "chicken" with the kids in the water. Some of the local parks are chok full of cool things to do.
