Darren McCarty Brings Slapstick Tour to Lansing Thursday
Former Detroit Red Wing Darren McCarty will appear at The Loft in downtown Lansing Thursday, October 18th in "The Slapstick Comedy Tour". The 'grind liner' will host the evening of comedy, sharing stories and memories from his legendary career; he'll also perform his own stand-up act. There will also be a roster of professional comics in the lineup.
Since his pro hockey career, McCarty's spent some time in the broadcast booth; he wrote an autobiography, My Last Fight: The True Story of a Hockey Rock Star. He was the lead singer of the rock band, "Grinder" during the off-season. A beast of epic proportion, in case you hadn't pieced it all together yet.
McCarty will also host a Q & A segment and a meet and greet after the show.
